The Mission

The mission is to provide a stable, professional platform for scientific and environmental field work across Buzzards Bay and its surrounding coastal region, supporting hydrographic surveys, tow‑fish operations, scientific diving, and water‑quality sampling in areas larger vessels cannot reach. The operation serves WHOI, NOAA, Massachusetts DMF, the Buzzards Bay Coalition, and university research teams with reliable access for habitat monitoring, restoration projects, fisheries research, protected‑species response, and specialized diving missions, with a platform to deliver the dependable capability required for effective field operations.
